Our Office

What sets us apart

Opening our doors in 1971, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics (PDO) was founded as a family-owned and family-centered comprehensive dental home for the community. Now treating second and third generations of families in South Florida, we have become a trusted dental healthcare provider, with a track record of delivering exactly what your children need—no less and no more.

We offer the most advanced treatment and technology for your comfort and convenience, including an X-ray machine that does not go in your mouth, and a computer at every station to involve you/your children in their oral development and treatment.

We will care for you as members of our own family, and make your visits comfortable and fun. With the majority of our staff now celebrating 10 or more years at PDO, you can expect us to get to know you well, and to become a trusted resource for your family’s dental health.

To provide superior, comprehensive dental care for our patients is our top priority. This is accomplished through parent participation with the child in education, prevention and diagnosis of dental disease, in combination with quality and service in a fun environment for patients and staff.

We strive for the well-being of our patients through a lifetime of optimal dental health, including self-image, facial growth and tooth alignment, so that patients can enjoy state-of-the-art dental care in an atmosphere where patients, parents and staff all feel they are part of our dental family.

Our Guidelines

So that we may devote to your child optimal dental care, the following are guidelines in this office:

  • You should speak with the doctors whenever you feel there is a problem. One of us is always on call for emergencies.
  • Our younger patients and those patients requiring longer treatment time will be scheduled in the earlier hours of the day when your child (and the doctor) are “fresher”. A legal school pass will be issued.
  • Missed appointments disrupt schedules and interrupt dental care. We make every effort to be respectful of your time-Allow us the same courtesy.
  • Patients with dental insurance are expected to pay for services when rendered. Notify the business assistant at the front desk if you have insurance. Providing your balance is zero, she will give you a form to take with you. If other arrangements are necessary, please discuss this at your first visit.
