Dr. Jordan Lissauer grew up in Southeast Florida. Exposed to dentistry at a young
age from his father’s dental practice in Boynton Beach, he knew at a young age he
wanted to be an orthodontist.
Dr. Lissauer graduated from the University of Michigan as Co-Valedictorian with
Highest Distinction in a class of over 5,000 graduates and was elected as a member
of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
After college, Dr. Lissauer moved to Boston to attend Tufts Dental School, where he
graduated Summa cum laude and was again honored as Valedictorian. He was
elected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor
Society. Also, he won numerous awards, including the American Association of
Endodontics Student Achievement Award, American Dental Society of
Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award, The Jack Frommer Award for
Excellence in the Morphological Sciences, and others. In addition, he was honored
on the Dean’s List for his High Performance on the National Board Dental
After graduating dental school, Dr. Lissauer continued his training as a general
practice resident at Coler-Goldwater Hospital in New York and was appointed Chief
Resident. He then completed his three-year Orthodontic Residency program at
Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
With all of the advancements in orthodontics and Invisalign, Dr. Lissauer works
hard to always be ahead of the curve. He loves learning and takes as many
continuing education courses as possible.
Dr. Lissauer enjoys living in South Florida with his wife Amy and their son Cole. The
Lissauer family loves to travel, ski, play tennis, attend concerts, visit museums, and
search for the next photograph to frame.
